TfL will launch a series of homeware products in collaboration with brands and designers at designjunction 2016 as it celebrates ‘Metroland’ and its role in the suburban development of London’s housing stock.
Made.com has a range of London Transport-inspired products including chairs upholstered in the Piccadilly Line fabric and lights referencing tube train designs
Finnish design house Vallila have cushions featuring London scenes and referencing the Tube map
And Loris&Livia have created a series of table mats inspired by the speckled flooring of London Underground carriages
Plus, for type fans, Florian Dussopt has created the Johnston Twitter Machine which will print out tweets using the TfL Johnston typeface for visitors to the TfL stand at designjunction
designjunction 2016 is at Granary Square, King’s Cross, London N1 from September 22 to 25
