Lazy Oaf launches a clothing collection based on film series Don’t Hug Me, I’m Scared

Created by Becky Sloan and Joseph Pelling, the Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared film series has a cult status online, with its mix of Sesame Street-esque characters exploring complicated themes such as love, time and computers attracting fans all over the world.

It seems a match made in heaven for Sloane and Pelling to team up with Lazy Oaf, the clothing company renowned for its brightly coloured, graphic inspired outfits. Much of DHMIS’s charm lies in its appealing characters, which are echoed in Lazy Oaf’s products, which include bags, jumpers, skirts and T-shirts.

To be fair, it will take someone with a bold look to pull many of these outfits off, though if you’ve been longing for clothes featuring cartoon eyes and Rainbow-inspired zip mouths, your time has come.
