With the Creative Review Photography Annual now open for entries, we’ve been showcasing some of the best in book winners from last year and reflecting on what makes a great image. Now we want to hear your suggestions on what makes a photo stand out and who you think has been producing amazing work.
Each year, the Photography Annual showcases the best in commercial imagery, selected by a panel of industry experts. Categories award outstanding uses of photography in advertising, editorial fashion as well as personal and non-published work. This year, we’ve also introduced a free-to-enter category for current students and those who graduated in 2015 (for full details, see here).
In judging entries, our panel (who will be announced later this month) look for not just beautiful images, but excellence in craft and an innovative idea or approach to subject matter.
