You can view the Photography Annual entry showcase here. If you’re still thinking of entering, you have until midnight on October 2 and categories are as follows:
Best use of photography in advertising and marketing campaigns: the advertising and design industries understand the power of the image to tell a story and communicate an idea. This new category, open to both the creators and commissioners of photography (at advertising agencies, design studios and in-house), celebrates those images and will feature those campaigns (both still and moving image) in which brilliant photography works in harmony with great creative ideas and executions.
Best use of photography in editorial/books (including portraits, still life and reportage/news): this category will celebrate the best in editorial photography and the art directors and publishers who commission it, whether that is a brilliant still life shot, reportage piece or cover portrait.
Best use of photography in fashion: from the classic magazine shoot, to look books and ad campaigns, this category celebrates the best photography (and moving image work by photographers) commissioned by the fashion industry.
Best use of CGI/retouching: a category to celebrate the often overlooked skills of CG artists in creating both still and moving images and the brilliant skills of the retoucher. Work will be judged on both technical skill and the ability of the final image to deliver the creative idea.
Best original stock photography – RM and RF: Celebrating images shot for and art directed by image libraries
NEW – Student Photographer: A free to enter category open to students or those who graduated in 2015. There are no restrictions on genre.
