New Don't Hug Me I'm Scared film released!

Today sees the release of the fourth film in the Don't Hug Me I'm Scared series, which takes on the theme of computers, to hilarious effect...

The series, which is created by Becky Sloan and Joseph Pelling, has reached a kind of cult status online over the past four years, with the previous three films jointly racking up over 40 million views. The charm of the shorts lie in their ability to mix the style of a classic children's TV show (think Sesame Street or Rainbow) with wry, and often amusing, observations about the world. The first three films looked at the subjects of creativity, time and love, whereas this one addresses the digital world, and particularly how it sucks in our attention, often without delivering much in return.

The film features a mix of puppetry, stop motion, and 3D animation. The music and lyrics were written by Becky & Joe, alongside long-term collaborator Baker Terry. Production is by Blink Industries. The previous Don't Hug Me I'm Scared films can all be viewed here.
